7 different ways you can display artwork throughout your home

April 2, 2023 Home Decor

Earlier this week I shared a roundup of my favorite artwork for spring. You can read all about it here if you missed it: 24 pieces of spring artwork I’m loving right now. And today I’m sharing 7 different ways you can display artwork throughout your home! Some you may not have even considered doing yet!

How do I display my artwork?

1. a gallery wall

A gallery wall could be above a sofa, on a large, blank wall, above a console table or a desk, like below in my office.

2. leaning artwork

This could be on open shelves, like my laundry room below.

Or even in a kitchen!

3. artwork on a console table

I almost always style my console tables with artwork!

I love the look of layering a piece over a mirror hung above the table.

4. stacked artwork

Another of my very favorite ways to display artwork throughout my home is by stacking two pieces.

You could do this in a living room or dining room.

p.s. it doesn’t just have to be stacked with another piece of artwork!

5. oversized artwork

The 5th way you can display artwork throughout your home is with an oversized piece of artwork. Think above a sofa, desk, fireplace, console table, bed, piano or a blank wall.

6. artwork displayed on an easel

This is the newest way I’ve been displaying artwork in my home!

You could use an easel to display artwork on a console table.

7. a single piece of smaller artwork

I love the simplicity of a small piece of artwork. Think in a bathroom, on a small wall, or above a bed.
