Looking for some help with decorating your entryway table? Well you have come to the right place! I’m sharing 7 simple tips for styling an entryway table!
Let’s get to it!
1. make it personal

The thing I love about an entryway, is it gets to set the tone for the entire house! So, it only makes sense to make it personal by picking artwork you love!
This could be an oversized art print in colors you have throughout your home, like the Calais Dunes Print I have above in my entryway. Or, something smaller, like the leaning artwork shown below.
I have a blog post all about Where To Buy Artwork For The Home here.
More artwork I love:
2. a place for guests to sit

I love my Leather Ottomans, shown above, for a lot of reasons. The best reason of all? Extra seating! When we have guests over, they can easily be pulled out to provide a quick spot to put on or take off your shoes!
Other seating options I love:
3. add storage

The shoes your guest are removing in your entryway? Baskets are the perfect spot to store them.
I also love baskets for storing cold weather accessories & umbrellas!
The baskets above are sadly no longer available; however this basket is very similar.
Bonus- when not in use, they look pretty sitting empty or filled with pillows & throw blankets.
Something else to consider: If you don’t have room for baskets under the console table, I love to style baskets set off to the side of the console table as well.
Other storage baskets I’m loving:
4. fresh flowers or greenery

I was at the grocery store yesterday afternoon and threw some fresh flowers in my cart. Perfect way to freshen up my entryway! And then I took the shot above. Because, fresh flowers just make everything prettier. Am I right?
If you don’t have fresh flowers, faux greenery is such a great option! I seriously have faux greenery on my console tables most of the year. There are so many great faux greenery options!
Faux Greenery I have & love:
5. add a mirror

Mirrors in the entryway are great for the obvious reason- checking yourself out on the way out the door of course. But the real reason I love them in an entryway? They reflect light and the surrounding rooms & just make the area feel bigger!
I bought the mirror above years ago, but this McGee & Co Mirror is the same size and looks almost identical.
Other mirrors perfect for an entryway:
6. add a lamp

A lamp on a console table not only adds visual height and looks pretty, but it also adds another layer of lighting to the space. The Target Table Lamp shown above is a great affordable option!
Other lamps I love for a console table:
7. add decorative objects

And the last of the 7 simple tips for styling an entryway table is adding in decorative objects!
Tip- vary the height of the objects you are placing. Books are great for this. I love to place a stack of books with a decorative object on top to give some extra height and interest. Bowls, empty vases & pots, decorative boxes and candles are all great options as well!
