Do the internet’s favorite pans live up to their hype?!? I have been cooking on my Caraway pans for a while now, so I figured it was time for an honest review!
I wanted to wait until I had a chance to use them consistently, so I wasn’t just gushing about how pretty they are sitting out on my stove.
So here it is – the 6 reasons I love my Caraway cookware set! And the one negative I have found after using them for over a year.

My pans are the Limited Edition In White, and they are BEAUTIFUL!!! But because they are limited editions, they are more expensive than some of the other 9 colors!

6 reasons I love my Caraway pans
1. Caraway pans are non-toxic cookware
This is the first nontoxic cookware set that I’ve owned, and I cannot believe it took me this long to get on board with being healthier with the pans I use to cook with!
My old pans were coated in Teflon, which I hate to even admit was all scratched up! I know that is not the healthy way to be cooking!
The Caraway cookware sets are (according to Caraway’s website) “High-quality ceramic-coated aluminum cookware free of PTFE (such as Teflon®), lead, cadmium, and other toxic materials that can make their way into your food.”
I just know I feel better cooking on this non toxic, nonstick ceramic cookware! Better late than never, am I right?!
2. It’s the best nonstick cookware I’ve ever used
I seriously have yet to have anything stick to any of my pans, and I have used them all. Seriously, scrambled eggs, soup, my favorite vegan burritos, overcooked rice, nothing is sticking.
My daughter even made a huge mess with the Caraway saucepan and didn’t clean it properly, which I didn’t notice until days later. The dried-on cheese sauce was seriously wiped off with a damp paper towel! Mind blown!
Ceramic’s naturally slick surface means minimal oil or butter for slide-off-the-pan eggs and easy cleaning.
3. Caraway pans are so easy to clean
As I mentioned above, the cleanup of this nonstick cookware set is ridiculously easy!
These nonstick pots and pans are naturally slick, which requires less scrubbing for a spotless clean.
I let my pans cool completely, and then seriously the pans practically clean themselves with minimal soap and zero scrubbing. I was SHOCKED the first time I cleaned a pan.
4. the cookware set stores easily
The set comes with magnetic pan racks, along with a canvas lid holder and hooks to hang it. You can display the pans out on your countertop or store them away in a drawer or cupboard.

5. Caraway pans come in so many pretty colors
The cookware sets come in 9 different colors! From cream to black to yellow & red, and everything in between. There is a color for everyone!

6. the pans double as functional decor
You guys, I have a small kitchen, which means I have to be mindful of how many new items I bring in.
I don’t own items that I don’t use.
And functional kitchen decor is my best friend!
Think pretty wood cutting boards, glass canisters filled with everyday items, wood salt & pepper shakers, a pretty olive oil bottle, and now my Caraway white and gold pans!
You guys, the Dutch oven is living out on my stove, and I’m not mad about it!
And if I had a bigger kitchen, they would all be out on display on my countertop!
and the negative
Ok, on to the negative! My most-used pan has started to discolor around the bottom where it gets direct heat from the stove. It is a non-issue for me, but if this is something that would bother you, I wanted you to be aware of the potential.
I use this pan every single day at least once, so it has been used a lot. I’m happy to report that none of the other pans have any sort of discoloration after a year of use.
to summarize
Ok, to summarize my thoughts on my Caraway pans, I love that the set comes with everything I need for cooking in my kitchen, including the storage to keep it all organized.
The negative- over time my most-used pan has started to discolor around the edge.
I love that it is non-stick, and I no longer have to use cooking spray.
I love that they are pretty pans that I can display on my stovetop.
I love that they are the easiest pans ever to clean after use. And I love that they are non-toxic!
Yes! According to Caraway, they are oven safe up to 550 degrees.
It is ceramic-coated cookware. It is made of smooth ceramic-coated aluminum. The mineral-based finish claims to keep toxins from leaching into your food while releasing 60 percent less CO2 than many other nonstick pans on the market.
From Caraway.com “Traditional non-stick cookware (over 95%!) is made with chemicals that can leach into your food and home. At Caraway, our cookware is made with a 100% non-toxic ceramic coating. Now that’s something to celebrate.”
According to Caraway, “Yes, our cookware is induction compatible. The bases of our pans’ diameters are 5.5″ for the Sauce Pan, 6″ Fry Pan, 6.5″ Dutch Oven, and 8″ for the Saute Pan. Although our cookware is compatible with induction stovetops, not all induction stovetops are compatible with us! We suggest reaching out to your manufacturer to confirm.”
