Whether you have a round, square, or rectangle dining table, you will love these simple Christmas centerpiece ideas for your dining room!
I’m sharing two different table decor ideas that will be super easy for you to recreate in your home this holiday season! And the best part? Neither are too over-the-top Christmas-y, and either table is perfect for Thanksgiving through the holidays.

Christmas Centerpiece Ideas:
1. Christmas table centerpiece for a round table
For this year’s Christmas table, I got to decorate our new round table, which I was super excited about!
I started the holiday centerpiece with a cute 3′ tabletop tree inside of an oversized pot for the center of the table.
The pot I used is older, but this pot will give you a similar look!
My 3′ tabletop tree sells out super early every year, but you can find more of my favorite tabletop Christmas trees here.
P.S. The dinnerware shown above is an older set I do not recommend. You can shop my new dinnerware set here.
Tap here to see a video of a slightly different version of the table above. (This video shows my new dinnerware!)
2. Centerpiece Idea For Square Or Rectangle Table
Another simple centerpiece idea:
For last year’s festive holiday table, I started with a table runner topped with garland. I love the greenery and table runner combo!
I then added taper and votive candleholders with battery-operated candles.
I hope you liked my Christmas centerpieces! You can find more Christmas decor ideas here.

You could easily replicate table 2 above with a real garland. Table 1 above could easily be done with an oversized pot filled with fresh evergreen stems instead of a faux tree.
The centerpiece on table 2 above could easily be done with items you likely have on hand- a table runner, garland, and an eclectic mix of candle holders.
I love the centerpiece ideas above, and if you are looking for more simple holiday table ideas, I also love the following: fill a large bowl with greenery topped with ornaments, a cluster of pillar candles, fresh holiday-inspired flowers in a vase, a trio of candle-filled lanterns, or an oversized vase filled with fresh or faux evergreen stems.
