This is the first year I have decorated our primary bedroom for Christmas. Last year I decorated our Guest Bedroom, and loved it so much that I decided to do our room this year. And today, I’m sharing it all with you! Christmas decor in the bedroom: a photo tour coming your way!
It all started with my Amber Interiors x Loloi Rug when I was planning for this space. Side note- you can see the design board I created for the space here. I didn’t want to do a traditional Christmas green for the space, because of the teal in the rug, so I decided to embrace the colors that I did have.
Enter the pretty berry color in the rug. One of the first items I purchased for the space were these Target Velvet/Cotton Pillows in the prettiest berry color, which worked perfectly with my rug.
On the bed, I actually didn’t have to change any of the pillows, which was great. All I did was add a pretty Garland. I learned you really don’t have to add too many items to a space to make it feel like Christmas.
our holiday bed
Above the bed, I switched out my artwork for a more Winter-Like Artwork Scene. I’m loving the cozy vibe that the new artwork brings to the space!
holiday nightstand decor
On the nightstands, I kept it simple with just a few pieces of Christmas decor.
On the other nightstand, I added a set of bottlebrush trees, a candle, and a bowl filled with Ornaments. Folding up a Throw Blanket is one of my favorite things to style on a bedside table! Both blankets I already had, so that was easy.
dresser & chair
And on the dresser, I again switched out my artwork to a more Christmas-like art print.
I added a few tabletop trees I already had, along with a pair of Taper Candles & a bell atop a couple of books.
Lastly, I filled a basket with a couple of pillows & a cozy throw blanket to go next to the dresser.
I hope you enjoyed the photo tour of our bedroom dressed up for Christmas!
