Neutral Christmas Living Room Tour-
Today I’m sharing my 2020 Christmas Living Room Home Tour!
This year when planning my Christmas decor, I decided to plan it entirely around this Beautiful Green Pillow and this equally Beautiful Almost Black Pillow. I had both pillows on my couch beginning this fall, and I loved them so much I knew they were my jumping off point. So, black green & neutral it was!

The past few years, I have had a very traditional Christmas living room. I had green and red plaid pillows, buffalo check throw blankets, red on my tree, and just an overall brighter look than I knew I wanted this year.
Neutral Christmas pillows & decor
Because my home has a neutral background, it is easy to get a new look with just a few simple changes. Instead of bringing out all of my ornaments and holiday pillows, I kept the red ones packed away. I hung ornaments more neutral in color and kept my green, neutral, gray & black pillows from fall out. I ended up purchasing a few ornaments this year to fill in the tree, and I only purchased two new pillows (both in the green plaid shown below) that worked well with all of my existing pillows in this space.

Neutral Christmas mantel
My 2020 Christmas living room mantel is exactly the same as last year’s mantel with one exception. The garland I have had little red berries sprinkled throughout. They looked like lights the way they were positioned, and were really pretty. But, we have learned by now I wasn’t doing the red this year. So I cut them out. I saved them and can wire them back in if I decide to go back to red in the future.

In my entryway this year, I continued the green, black & neutral colors. I styled my console table with a few faux trees, home decor books, a pretty wood garland and my favorite lamp! Under the console table I kept the baskets that are normally there but filled them with pillows and a throw in my holiday colors.
Opposite the console table I hung a cute wreath and bells on our coat hooks to bring some holiday sparkle to that side of the entryway as well!

Hi Amanda! Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. The horse print is from Minted.com. At the top of my blog under “menu” you can shop my home where I list sources for everything I can.
