9 Inexpensive Decor Rugs I Have And Love
1. Loloi x Magnolia Home Millie rug

I LOVE the Millie rug in our entryway! And it is one of the least expensive on my list.
The 10-foot runner in my entryway is currently under $100!
The Millie Collection is a vintage-inspired area rug based on Turkish Oushak designs with timeless floral motifs. It comes in several different rug sizes and makes a great rug for any room in your home.
The rug we have is sky/gold, and it is made up of pretty, muted blues, gold, and creams.

This rug is part of the Magnolia Home By Joanna Gaines decor rugs line, which is amazing! This line has several washable rug options too.
The rug we have has a low pile making it great for spaces that need clearance for a door to open over the top of the rug.
It is also a great option to use to layer over carpet in a bedroom or living room.

2. Jean Stoffer X Loloi rug

Friends, this Jean Stoffer x Loloi rug is a beauty! And, it is the softest rug of any that I am sharing. It is the perfect bedroom rug, because of its coziness!
The name of this rug is the Bradbury Midnight/Multi, and it is made up of navy, blush & cream, but the colors do change and look different throughout the day depending on the light! It also has a cute fringe at each end, which I love.
It looks so pretty paired with the color cream!

Like my entryway rug, this is a great layering option over the carpet or another rug. Before this rug ended up in our bedroom, we had it layered over our living room rug!
3. Loloi olive & charcoal area rug

The Layla olive/charcoal rug is such a pretty rug! And even though it isn’t neutral, it goes with so many different colors!
I’ve styled it with darker, olive, and black pillows, and I’ve also styled it with more spring-like pillows to give a completely different look!

This rug is currently on major sale with free shipping from Rugs Direct! We have the 7.5’x9.5′ size and it is 62% off right now!
I love the warmth that it brings to our guest bedroom!

It’s a vintage-inspired rug with a traditional pattern and gently distressed coloring for a lived-in look, which I LOVE!

Low-pile and low-maintenance, this rug is easy to vacuum and spot-clean.

I wanted to mention a few things regarding rugs in the kitchen! I realize they are not for everyone, but I love a cozy rug in the kitchen.
My mom has always had rugs in her kitchen, and I even remember my grandmother having rugs throughout her kitchen.
I think it warms up the space both visually and physically, and I love the cushion underfoot.
We had our last wool kitchen rug for probably close to 3 years! I’m here to say you do not need to be afraid of them ;-)!

I love the fringe detail, along with the texture that it brings to our kitchen dining area.
I will say that this rug is not a cozy one. It is perfect in a dining space because it is great at hiding spills and dirt! But I wouldn’t have it in our living room.

Becki Owens x Surya Margaret Area Rug

This machine-washable rug is one of my favorite rugs I have in my home! It is the perfect neutral, looks vintage, and has an adorable tiny fringe detail on both ends.
The Margaret is also super durable and can withstand high traffic, making it the perfect rug for any living space or entryway.
For affordable rugs, I love to shop on Amazon for a couple of different reasons. One, I love that most of the time I don’t have to wait long for my rug order. And two, a lot of their rugs have free shipping & returns. On my most recent rug purchase, I ordered two rugs for the same space and returned the one I didn’t love.
For other rugs, I love Pottery Barn, Lulu & Georgia, and McGee & Co.
Studio McGee has a great blog post all about this! They go room by room giving simple tips on rug sizes. You can find the blog post here.
I have jute rugs, wool rugs, synthetic rugs, and rugs that are a combination. And, I like them all for different reasons! The Spruce has written a great article detailing 6 different types of rug materials that you may find helpful! You can find the article here.
One final note- I almost always use a rug pad under my area rugs unless they are placed on the carpet. You can shop the rug pads & accessories I use here.
