Sharing my 2021 fall design boards full of a bunch of decorating ideas to use in your own home. Cozy pillows & blankets, artwork, faux stems, pretty decor pieces, candles & more. I will link the items I’m sharing below each design board.
I’ve mentioned this before, but I will never be a pumpkins-in-a-bowl type fall decorator, but I still like to bring in some coziness to each of my spaces. I do this mostly through textiles, candles, artwork and faux branches.
2021 Fall Design Boards
fall decor in the living room
In my living room, I’m updating my throw pillows and blankets to include darker, warmer colors like grays, greens and browns. I’m also switching out my artwork to a fall-inspired vintage art print. On my console table, I will switch out fresh flowers for faux fall branches. I’m bringing in coffee table books in fall colors of browns and greens as well! A candle in a yummy fall scent is always a good idea, so I will have a couple of those sprinkled around too. It doesn’t have to scream fall to feel like fall, if you ask me. Just a few items to warm up the space is all you really need.

fall design boards: the kitchen
I always keep it simple in my kitchen when I’m decorating each season. Mostly because I don’t have a lot of space to decorate. A leaning piece of artwork (I’m using Wild Brush from Collection Prints) in pretty fall colors, a cozy runner under foot, wood tone accessories, fall dish towels, and a utensil crock in fall colors is about it. But you know what? It looks like fall with just a simple change of a few pieces!

fall decor in the den
Like my living room, I love to bring in warm colors and different textures with a few new pillows and a throw blanket in a cozy fall color. I also love to change up accessories like vases & pots in deeper, muted colors. I’m also adding faux fall stems to my den. I’ll add several new fall-inspired art prints to my shelves, which is probably my favorite way to bring seasons into a space.

fall design boards: the entryway
Keeping it simple seems to be a trend this fall, as that’s exactly what I’m doing in my entryway too. A couple of fall pillows in my baskets, a cozy throw blanket, a table lamp for extra lighting, and neutral decor pieces on my console table. Lastly, I love to hang my leather bag and a cozy scarf from my coat hooks! Functional decor is the best kind of decor!

fall decor in the bedroom
My new area rug & artwork really set the tone for this fall bedroom. Could the colors in the rug & artwork be any more fall-like?!? Adding a few pillows in blacks, greens & creams, fall foliage, a folded blanket on the bedside table, a candle, and that is about it. Loving this warm bedroom! The art print is Farmstead from Collection Prints.
