If you follow me on Instagram, you saw me going room by room last week sharing simple ways you can add fall decor to your home! And today I’m breaking it down in 5 simple steps!
I’m not one to go all-out for fall.
You will not see a house full of pumpkins anywhere around here. (Much to my daughter’s dismay!)
But instead, I like to bring in a few simple pieces of decor to each of my spaces to make my home feel warmer and more fall-like.
And that’s exactly what I’m sharing with you today. How to add simple fall decor to your home.

1. artwork

My very favorite way to bring fall into our home is by switching out our artwork! Most of my artwork is made up of affordable art prints, which makes it super simple to switch out each season.
I have a drawer full of art prints that I go through each season, and I pick a few that make the cut and end up on my walls. Or shelves. Or console table. Or bedside table.
And if you don’t have any artwork to switch out, here is a super affordable option: Head to a thrift store and buy a few frames. Then, get on Etsy and find art prints you love. This shop has super affordable options. And she will print and ship if you don’t want to deal with it. And if you want to print them yourself, head to Mpix.com.
p.s. here are my favorite frames.

2. fall stems

If you are lucky enough to have a yard full of trees, this one is a super affordable option.
But if you are like me, and have to rely on faux, this year I’m loving these stems, along with these.
I love adding stems to a dining room table, console table, bedside table, a desk, or even a kitchen island.
I also bought this cute little faux olive tree for the corner of my den.
3. pillows & throw blankets

Another way I love to add fall to my spaces is through pillows and throw blankets!
Add a fall pillow and blanket to a basket.
Switch out your bedroom pillows.
Add a new pillow to a chair.
Or go all-in with new pillows for your sofa or sectional. You can see them in my living room here.
4. add candles

I love a yummy-scented fall candle, but I’m also really loving these LED flameless candles.
Either way, you are really upping the fall coziness factor by placing a few candles throughout your spaces. Think bedside table, kitchen, desk, console table, coffee table, open shelves!
5. add wood & brass decor pieces

If you ask me, nothing warms up a space faster than adding wood & brass elements. I try to bring in a few extra pieces of wood & brass decor for fall through holiday.
Think picture frames, wood bowls, brass candleholders, or a brass dish.
