Today I’m sharing 16 Of My Favorite Neutral Rugs! Several of those I am sharing I have in my own home! I will have links to all of the rugs at the bottom of my post!

I love neutral rugs! My home is filled with them. I like having a neutral background in my home (sofa, chairs, wall color & rugs,) so I can add in color each season through my artwork & pillows! I have rounded up several of my favorite neutral rugs at all price-points below.
wool blend neutral rugs:

The Pottery Barn Chunky Wool & Jute Rug, which is shown above, is by far my favorite rug. You guys, I have had it in 2 different rooms in my house for 5 years, and they both still look amazing! The rug is soft and cozy under foot, and is the most perfect amount of warm & cool to allow for me to use really any color with it! I have the Natural Color. Disclaimer- it does shed a bit, but it has never been an issue for me. The softness and all-around looks of the rug far outweigh the amount of shed.
more neutral wool blend rugs:
This Crate & Barrel Cream Hand Tufted Rug has a beautiful and subtle background, which I love. Easily blends with various styles & color palettes.
This Threshold Studio McGee Wool Rug is a great and affordable option. The 7×10 is $259!
I have been in love with this Lulu & Georgia Wool Rug for years! I really wanted to use it in our guest bedroom refresh, but it just has too tall of a pile for that space. It is great as a runner, in a living space or a bedroom. In LOVE. Eventually I’m hoping to find a spot for it!

This beautiful Pottery Barn Wool Runner is similar to my Pottery Barn wool kitchen runner that is no longer available. When I was choosing a rug for my kitchen, wool made me nervous; however, I’ve had it for several years and it still looks great. And, it is SO comfortable under foot, which makes it 100% worth it.
low pile neutral rugs:

The Neutral Rug shown above in our guest bedroom is another great rug. I love this rug for several reasons. One, it is an affordable rug. The 8×10 is under $200, and the 5×8, which is what we have, is $105! Secondly, it has a really low pile height, so it is a great layering rug.
You can see from the photo below, we have it layered over carpet in our guest bedroom.

more low-pile neutral rugs:
I have this Loloi Rug sitting in my guest bedroom waiting to be switched out as I’m writing this. I’m ready to bring a darker rug into this space, and I’m so excited for the change. I have unrolled it, and it is SO soft, which I love. It also is affordable! The 8×10 is under $200!
I’m also completely in love with this Loloi Chris Loves Julia Rug. Such beautiful colors!
natural fiber rugs:

Another neutral (and affordable) rug that I have and love is the Chunky Jute Rug shown above in my dining nook. I have the 6×9 size, and it is under $120 right now! This rug hides dirt & food really well! Maybe too well! It adds texture and warmth to the space, which is exactly what I was looking for when I was in search of a rug for this space. Disclaimer- it definitely isn’t the coziest rug. I would not choose this rug in a room where I would be laying or walking with bare feet regularly. However, for us it is the perfect for this space!
more natural fiber rugs:
When I was choosing my dining room rug, I ordered a sample of this Serena & Lily Tulum Rug. I almost went with it. I love the pattern of it, and would have went with it, but I felt it was too similar to my living room rug.
This West Elm Jute Rug has a similar pattern to the Serena & Lily one above. My entryway rug is a close match to this rug, and I love it because it is great for hiding dirt!
This Handwoven Jute Rug from Anthropologie is amazing. I love the fringe details, would be great for high traffic areas, and looks cozy!
a few more neutral rug favorites:
I love the earth-tones in this Lulu & Georgia Stripe Break Rug. It is perfect in a bathroom, living room, bedroom or entryway!
The colors in this Teagan Ivory & Sand Rug are beautiful. I’m considering it for our main bedroom. I love that it has ivory, gray & tans throughout.
I love the vintage look of this Saskia Rug. It has such a beautiful, traditional look, which is a favorite of mine.
Last but definitely not least is this McGee & Co. Ellington Rug. I LOVE this beautiful rug for a bedroom. It has such a warm feel to it. Every time I see them post a photo of it, it makes me want to re-do my bedroom!
