22 bedroom decor ideas- from budget to splurge!
Sharing simple bedroom inspiration ideas with a twist- I’m giving a splurge & save version of each item! Because sometimes a splurge is the only way to go, and sometimes the save is even better, am I right?
Everything is linked at the bottom of the post!
Let’s get to it!
simple bedroom inspiration ideas:

splurge versus save furniture:
In each room in my house, I have a mix of splurge & save. Our guest bedroom is no exception!
We definitely splurged on our Serena & Lily Nightstands! A more affordable option, also from Serena & Lily, is this Ellington Side Table. It gives a similar look for half the price! Even more affordable? This Target Wood Nightstand is half the price again!
I love our Lulu & Georgia Upholstered Bed, and it was completely worth the splurge! Not in the budget, this Target Linen Upholstered Bed is under $300!!
How great is this affordable Upholstered Accent Chair With Wood Base? It would be so perfect in a corner of a bedroom. It looks so similar to this McGee & Co. Armchair, which is $2500 more!!!
These Target Faux Leather Woven Cubes are a great option if these Leather Ottomans aren’t in the budget. I love a set of them at the foot of a bed!
splurge versus save bedding:
I have this affordable Ruffle Quilted Coverlet Set in our guest bedroom. It is reversible, and I have it on the bed with the ruffle side down, and I love the quilted look of it. Bonus-it is on sale today!!
When redoing our guest bedroom, I fell in love with this Pottery Barn Linen Quilt in natural. It was perfect for the end-of-bed, but I just couldn’t bring myself to spend that much money. I found this Linen Blend Quilt for over half as much! I do think I will splurge on the Pottery Barn version for my own bed at some point, but it just wasn’t in the budget for the guest room. It is all about compromise, am I right?!?
I’m loving the look of a single, large lumbar pillow styled on a bed instead of several smaller pillows. And, it is more affordable! I’m in love with this Woven Nook Lumbar Pillow for just that! Want to splurge on a vintage option? This McGee & Co. Vintage Pillow is amazing.
splurge versus save rugs:
We have this Loloi Olive & Charcoal Rug in our guest bedroom right now. I love it, and cannot recommend it more. Looking to splurge on a wool rug? Do it on this Hand Knotted Wool Rug! It is amazing!
splurge versus save decor:
If you have been here for any amount of time, you know I love a good faux plant! I recently bought this affordable Eucalyptus Plant Arrangement, and I could not be any happier with it. I have also splurged on faux greenery like this Faux Maidenhair Drop-In, and it is so worth it. It is nice to have a mix of both!
Our guest bedroom has this budget-friendly Concrete Desk Lamp, and I seriously get comments on it all of the time. Definitely does not look budget. Want to splurge? I’m loving this Crate & Barrel Round Table Lamp.
Artwork is another area where I have a mix of high/low throughout my home. I’m loving this Field In Summer Framed Artwork for a bedroom. A more affordable option is this Vintage Farmhouse Digital Print. Frame it with this Amazon Frame for a very similar look to the splurge, but for a fraction of the price.
Last but definitely not least, I have this Woven Cotton Throw, which seriously may be my favorite newer purchase. It is $30! I’m loving the splurge version, this Neutral Check With Fringe Blanket, just as much! How cute is it?!?
