I’m sharing 8 Simple Fall Decorating Ideas For The Kitchen- small touches anyone can add to give a kitchen a warm and welcoming feel this fall. The best part? These ideas will easily carry you through Thanksgiving!
Bonus- I’m linking a bunch of fall kitchen decor at the bottom of the post.
If you have questions about where something is from below, you can shop my home here.

1. add a cozy rug or runner

Fall is the perfect time to add a small rug or runner to your kitchen. I love the added warmth a rug brings to a kitchen with the added color and texture, as well as physical warmth under foot. If you don’t have a space for a large rug, a small one at your sink is perfect!
2. wood accents

I’m way less about adding pumpkins and kitschy fall decor and more about bringing warmth and fall-inspired colors to my spaces. Adding wood accent pieces throughout your kitchen is such an easy way to do this. Think an oversized wood bowl filled with apples or other fall fruits & veggies; wood pedestal for your soap and/or lotion dispenser; wood cutting boards displayed leaning against your backsplash; wood salt & pepper shakers, etc.
3. add some fall-inspired artwork

My very favorite way to add fall to my kitchen is through artwork. I’ll link a bunch of my favorites below. If you are purchasing a digital print, I love to print mine at Mpix.com I always do their giclée print on their fine art paper. I’ve used them for years!
4. fall florals or branches

We don’t have a large kitchen, so I settled for a small vase filled with fall florals. If your kitchen is large, I love an oversized vase with cut fall stems from your yard. No stems to cut? Go faux! I’m linking some good ones below.
5. dish towels

I love to change out my dish towels each season. It’s such a simple way to bring a certain color or seasonal look to your kitchen.
6. add a fall-scented candle
Strangely, I couldn’t find a single photo of my kitchen with a fall candle. So, you will have to imagine it 🙂 . Think a pretty candle with wick trimmer placed on a wood pedestal, or group one next to a pretty bunch of fall flowers and a salt and pepper shaker set.
7. add a fall wreath

Ok using our imaginations again, because this post is, after all, about fall and not Christmas. But, you can do the same thing I have done above for fall. Hang it from your range hood, or from a cutting board like I’ve done here.
8. scented hand soap & lotion in a pretty dispenser

The last thing I love to add for fall is a soap/lotion set by the sink. There is just something so much better about putting your hand soap in a pretty dispenser. (Mine are from Hardeman Home.) Even better, add a yummy, fall scented soap!
