A Simple Holiday Table That Works For Thanksgiving And Christmas

Today I’m sharing a simple holiday table that works for Thanksgiving and Christmas! It will transition beautifully from Thanksgiving to Christmas, or if you are like me, and already have your Christmas decor out, it will transition from Christmas to Thanksgiving :-)!

That’s what I’m loving about this table- it is neutral and simple and leans more winter than Christmas, making it the perfect table to style now, and it will last through the holidays.

You guys, I’m not exaggerating when I say this table took me less than 5 minutes to do! It really is so simple.

Step 1 of this simple holiday table, is to add a neutral table runner.

Initially I was going to place the garland directly on the table like I did with Last Year’s Table, but then I saw this Table Runner when I was in Crate & Barrel a few weeks ago, and I knew it would add the perfect touch to my table.

Next, add a faux or real garland to the center of the table. This is the second holiday season using this Crate & Barrel Garland, which I LOVE. It really is one of the more realistic garlands I have seen.

Step 3 is to add a variety of candleholders down the center of the table.

I mentioned above that when I was planning my dining space for Christmas, I knew I wanted to use these Pottery Barn Taper Candleholders, as well as these Pillar Candleholders, but any variety of different size/heights of candles would work.

Next, add neutral dinnerware. These Crate & Barrel Dishes are the only dishes we have, which works for us! They look nice out on a table, and work well for everyday use as well.
