Besides Christmas, summer is my very favorite time of the year to decorate my home. I feel like I can go light and bright, use fun colors that I wouldn’t use the rest of the year, fresh flowers are readily available, and my house feels so cheery! Sharing a bunch of photos of my home all dressed up for summer, along with plenty of summer decorating ideas for your home!
I’m linking a bunch of my summer decor below, but as always, if you have questions about where something is from, you can shop my home here.
Bonus- you can shop all of my summer home looks here.
summer decor for an entryway
The artwork above is the perfect piece to add to your entryway for summer!
I love the pretty greens, blues & a hint of blush.
Above, I filled an oversized vase with fresh flowers, which I love doing during the summer months.
If you would rather go faux, these tulips are a great option!
summer decor in the living room
I love to bring in pretty summer colors through pillows in my living room.
Above, I have used pretty blues and creams and blush, which I think are the perfect colors for summer.
I love to add fresh flowers to a coffee table basket, and what better flower for summer than the hydrangea?!?
If you would rather go faux, I have these hydrangeas and they look incredibly real!
For the living room console table look above, I added a large vase filled with hydrangeas and a framed summer-inspired art print.
Again, the hydrangeas above are real, but I also have these faux hydrangeas, which will give you a similar look.
Artwork is one of the easiest ways to bring summer into your home! I wrote an entire blog post on my favorite pieces! You can find that here: A Simple Way To Add Summer Decor To Your Home
Adding an area rug in a light color is another great way to bring a summer look to your spaces. The area rug below in our den is currently on major sale!
