9 easy ways to add summer to your kitchen
Today I am sharing simple summer decorating ideas in the kitchen! Over 50 pieces to help you summer-ize your kitchen!

kitchen artwork
I’ve said it before, and I will continue to say it, artwork is my very favorite way to get a new look each season in my home. My kitchen is no exception! So simple to order a new art print for a frame you already have! I love to hang artwork above my range, or leaning against my backsplash.
fresh flowers
This time of year, I love to fill my vases with fresh flowers! If I’m at the grocery store, I will throw a couple of bunches in my cart. So fun to put a small bouquet next to the sink, or a larger one on an island or large countertop! Think outside the box- a pretty pitcher filled with flowers is perfect for a kitchen!
dish towels
I love to switch out my dish towels for a new season too! Summer is a great time to have fun with color! Last year I had blue dish towels in my kitchen for summer, and it just made me happy! Funny how something so simple as a dish towel can make us happy, am I right?!? #adulting 🙂
summer-scented candle
I feel like candles often get forgotten in the summer months! There is something cozy about lighting them when the weather turns, but I also love to light them for the yummy scents in the summertime as well. I love walking into my home after a summer-scented candle has been burning! Summer candles make my home smell so fresh & clean!
a cute soap/lotion dispenser
Another fun way to add summer to your kitchen is with a cute soap & lotion dispenser set filled with delicious smelling soaps & lotions. I love to switch out my hand soap scents throughout the year! Right now I have lavender!
basket or bowl to fill with fresh fruit
I feel like I buy a lot more fresh fruit in the summer months, and having a basket or bowl to fill is something I love. Plus, when it is displayed out on a countertop, we eat more of it, and it looks pretty!
faux greenery
At Christmastime, I always hang a wreath from my cutting boards above my range. Not sure why I wouldn’t do it for summer as well! Love the wreath I’m linking below! I almost always have faux greenery in my kitchen as well. For summer it is fun to fill it with a pretty plant like lavender to change things up!
cookbooks
I love cookbooks as functional decor in a kitchen as well. For the summer months, swap out your usual cookbooks for a summer entertaining one (or two.)
pretty glass canisters
I love to style glass canisters on my countertop filled with items I use daily like oats & flour. During the summer months, it is fun to switch it up! Fill it with pretty cookies or candies with a pretty scoop!
