And why I would buy them again!
I don’t get attached to things in my home. And by things I mean all of the furniture, artwork & decor. My husband and I have bought and sold many times over the years, and each time I would have said farewell to everything in the home if someone would have offered. I just think each home has its own look and feel, and a lot of what I have in my current home, likely wouldn’t translate to another. Except for 5 things. And that’s it. I’d be happy to pack the 5 things in my home I love the most and move them with me. Or, I would buy them again in one second. The rest can stay. Sharing the lucky 5 below 🙂 !
p.s. I’m obviously not talking sentimental things like family photos, heirlooms, etc. I’m talking furniture, artwork & decor!

1. Pottery Barn Pearce sectional

We have had this Sectional going on a year, and I still LOVE it as much as I did day one. I love the color, size, comfort and clean lines. It is a sectional that would go with so many different styles and types of homes too. Cannot recommend it more. You can find detail of the one we have in my original review: Our Living Room Sectional (Pottery Barn Pearce Sectional)
I should also note that I LOVE our older Pottery Barn PB Comfort Sectional too. We have had that sectional for over 10 years, and it still looks amazing. It lives on in our bonus room! You can find details of the one we have, and read my review on it here: Pottery Barn PB Comfort Sectional Review.
2. Lulu & Georgia upholstered bed

Next, our Lulu & Georgia Adara Bed. It’s sad that the bed I love most in our home is in our guest bedroom! This bed is super cozy, I love the color (Linen Talc,) and it is such a classic bed that goes with any type of decor! Bonus- also works well with any color throw pillow!
3. West Elm counter stools

Funny story about these Stools. They were one of the very first things we bought for this home after moving in. I was in love with them and knew they would be perfect. And when they were delivered, they were way too tall! The measurements online were to the bottom of the seat, so they were off by several inches. (They now sell both counter and bar options, and measurements are seat height, so they have fixed it.) Anyway, at the time, they only had one size, and the size definitely wasn’t going to work.
West Elm was super nice and apologetic, and was happy to take them back, but I knew they were the one, and I somehow had to make them work. So, my husband took a saw to them. I know, yikes, right?!? I definitely couldn’t watch, but they turned out perfectly. If you look really closely, you can see they have little plastic feet on the bottom, which is protecting our floors from the sheered-off metal! We got super lucky and found those on Amazon. (The original ones have plastic feet too, but we had to cut that part off.) So, that was 6 years ago, and the stools are still going strong. Like zero issues. They are super sturdy, classic, have a comfortable seat, and are the perfect stool to warm up an all-white kitchen. I would buy them again in one second.
4. Pottery Barn chunky wool/jute rug

This Rug is another item we have had since shortly after moving in. It is in our main living area, so it gets the most traffic out of any room in our home. The rug is soft & cozy, has worn extremely well, hides dirt, and is the perfect neutral (goes with any color pillow I throw its way!) We have had it for close to 6 years, and I could not recommend it more!
5. Serena & Lily chairs

And last, but definitely not least, are my living room chairs. Now I want to start out by telling you that my exact chairs are no longer available. I know, let’s all have a moment of silence.
It’s a bummer. They are seriously one of my very favorite things! The good news is there are other options that will give you the same look. Because really it’s the wood, shape and natural materials that everyone loves.
Here are some similar options.
- The Arlo Chair from McGee & Co. When I bought my chairs several years ago, I debated between the ones I bought and the Arlo. Sometimes I wish I would have gone with the Arlo, because it has continued to be available, while I continue to make people cry telling them my chairs aren’t!
- The Cosette Chair from McGee & Co. I have had my eyes on this chair for years. I really want them for my den/office, but they are just too similar to my living room chairs.
- The Eva Teak Chair from Shoppe Amber Interiors. This one is probably the most similar to my chairs. This chair is the same size as mine, same wood tone and seagrass seat and back, and has the same shaped arms. It’s the perfect dupe!
- Wood And Seagrass Chair from World Market. And this is a more affordable option! It is a bit smaller, but gives a really similar look to mine!
