You guys, earlier this week I was watching a story on Instagram of a pillow shop I follow, and she was sharing their new pillows. They were all so perfectly pretty, and perfectly curated, and perfectly summer-y. And even though it’s 48 and raining as I write this (I know! Feel very sorry for us Pacific NW dwellers, as we are in the middle of the worst spring ever!) Anyway, even with the cold weather (seriously, my fire is going in May,) I’m dreaming of transitioning my home to summer. So today I’m sharing the pillows I’m adding to my cart for summer. Because a girl can dream of summer eventually arriving, am I right?!? BONUS- the cute pillow shop I’m sharing today is offering my readers a discount code for 20% off! Find that code below!
How lovely are these pillows, you guys?!? The pretty blush, and blues, and whites, and neutrals, and cute patterns, and pretty florals. They scream “I’m perfect for summer,” am I right?
And you know what the best part about when a pillow shop comes out with a new collection?!? They generally can all be mixed and matched, making it super easy to put together a pillow combo!
The above 6 pillows would be so perfect for a living room or bedroom!
For a living room sectional, I would mix & match all of them, repeating a few of the patterns. You can see how many pillows I like to use, pillow sizing, along with examples of how I mix & match my sectional pillows in this blog post: What Are The Best Pillow Sizes For A Sectional?
For a living room sofa, I would choose 5 of the pillows, and style them 3 on one side, and 2 on the other: (2) 22″, (2) 20″, (1) small lumbar, so you would have a 22″ + a 20″ on each side, and layer a small lumbar in front of one of the sides.
For a bed, I would do (2) 22″ matching pillows and one lumbar in front in a different pattern.

p.s. I always use these inserts, and I almost always size up. So, if I buy a 22″ pillow cover, I use a 24″ insert. You can see why I do this here. The exception is lumbar pillow covers. For those, I go with a true-to-size insert.

p.s.s. I know many of us would consider these pillows a splurge, and while I keep my pillows for years, and rotate them in and out, and consider the splurge pillows 100% worth it, that hasn’t always been the case for me, and I realize it isn’t always an option for everyone. So, I wanted to give you all a similar, more affordable option as well. Target to the rescue!
